The REACH Program start date is July 2026. Early starts may occur based on business needs. This is a 24-month structured learning and development program for upcoming and recent college graduates, as well as career changers, to build skills in reinsurance broking and risk management. You will gain access to our Executive Team, mentors, trainers, and a network of colleagues. All training hours are paid. This is a full-time role with a hybrid work schedule (in-office and remote days determined by location). How you’ll make an impact: You will work with clients to protect assets and navigate complex risks using sophisticated analytics, providing insights and risk transfer strategies. As a program participant, you will: Collaborate with clients at all levels to market, negotiate, place, and service client accounts Craft persuasive pitch documents and presentations for new and existing clients Analyze data with actuarial, catastrophe modeling, and financial advisory teams to provide insights Contribute to structuring, placing, and servicing reinsurance transactions Support contract work and finalization of reinsurance placements In addition, you will participate in web-based and in-person seminars to expand industry knowledge and work toward attaining your P&C (Property & Casualty) license within 12 months and your ARe (Associate in Reinsurance) designation within 18 months of hire. As your experience grows, you will help clients navigate challenges and find coverage solutions aligned with their budgets, assisting during unexpected losses to protect their business continuity. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) to create and share documents Strong technical proficiency to use various software for tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Flexibility to travel to Gallagher Re’s Rolling Meadows, IL home office for training (expenses covered) Nice-to-Haves
