Work independently, identify problem areas, and escalate as needed to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate tax returns, research, accounting, and project completion. Lead moderately complex tax projects, including analysis of tax methods, implementation of new tax laws, and compliance processes or calculations. Identify moderately complex tax issues and provide recommended solutions via research and documentation. Lead the preparation and review of moderately complex tax/accounting regulatory and tax compliance with limited supervision. Perform and document research and analysis on related accounting and tax issues. Guide team members and model leadership on moderately complex tax projects. Keep knowledge up to date on new tax and accounting developments and EY technologies and processes related to the role. Skills And Attributes For Success

Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and finance principles to complete moderately complex assignments. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with financial and tax applications (e.g., GoSystems, Onesource, CorpTax) as required by area of specialization. Strong attention to detail and communication skills (written and verbal). Proven conceptual and analytical ability. To qualify for the role you must have

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics. 4–6 years of increasingly diverse or moderately complex experience in related field. Ability to prioritize, handle, and track multiple assignments; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently. Some supervision skills required; strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Experience with financial and tax applications (GoSystems, CorpTax, Onesource) as required by area of specialization; proficiency in tax accounting systems. Willingness to travel as needed; ability to work in a balanced hybrid environment. Ideally, you’ll also have

CPA, EA, licensed attorney, Project Management Professional, or Six Sigma Black Belt (not required). What We Look For
