As a Controller, you’ll lead the accounting team, collaborate with leaders across the company, and drive innovation by automating and modernizing processes. Your expertise in accounting, modern tools, and organizational change will help align cross-functional teams as you introduce new tools, systems, and workflows that support data-driven decisions and operational excellence. What You’ll Do
Own financial and accounting reporting, ensuring proper control framework and financial data integrity across all CTC entities Develop and implement accounting processes and procedures that improve timeliness, efficiency, and reliability of financial data and controls Manage the monthly close process and oversee general ledger activity, detailed account reconciliations, and GL variance analysis to ensure accuracy of monthly consolidations and reporting Research and implement technical accounting pronouncements and investigate accounting issues and transactional anomalies Develop and maintain the team’s accounting policies and procedures and engage with senior level management on accounting matters Be a people leader, responsible for coaching and development of a group of accounting professionals Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence Requirements
At least 3+ years of experience managing people in accounting Experience owning daily/monthly close process and other key accounting functions Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Demonstrated track record of driving continuous process and system improvements, with a focus on increasing automation and efficiency Strong operational excellence mindset with exceptional interpersonal and change management skills to successfully lead and implement organizational change Experience working with software to generate reporting for general ledger, procurement, and expense Preferred
Experience in the trading industry Basic SQL/Python experience CPA certification/license Series 27 Experience with an ERP selection and implementation Compensation
Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000, plus a discretionary bonus The discretionary bonus will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and firm performance Benefits and Diversity Commitment
