Senior Manager, AI Planning & Advanced Data Analytics/Initiatives at RBC. This role involves managing the availability and assignment of Strategy, Products and Digital Investing (SP&DI) resources to engagements and client relationships, ensuring SP&DI service expectations are met. The role conducts client review meetings, solicits client feedback, and provides recommendations on new or enhanced SP&DI services. You will ensure the competence and availability of consulting resources to support SP&DI services and oversee your team’s performance. What will you do?

Design the architecture for best-in-class Data & AI/ML financial analytics products, providing a single source for firmwide Data & AI/ML expenses and benefits. Develop innovative solutions to transform the organization into an AI- and data-driven culture while informing the firmwide Data & AI/ML strategy. Provide oversight on the firmwide AI/ML use case inventory, including ongoing development in reporting capabilities and implementation of the AI/ML Business Inventory Standard. Bridge business and technology, ensuring maintenance and delivery of firmwide goals through technically aided analytic solutions. Ensure fit-for-purpose data availability to provide the right analytical/reporting data, access, definitions, structure, and tools; provide analytics and reports across the firm to monitor KPIs and opportunities to increase revenue. Coordinate with other areas of the Firm and external partners for data access, effectiveness, and reliability. Work with vendors on solution implementation and procurement of best-in-class third-party enrichment data. Build a world-class analytics organization leveraging existing resources and talent across geographies. Lead working groups and problem-solving sessions to support leadership decision making. Coach, train and mentor employees in the field of Data & Analytics and support their career goals. Establish strong relationships with key Data & AI/ML functions firmwide to understand the landscape. What do you need to succeed?

5+ years of experience in business management, product management, consulting, analytics, or a related field. Able to develop, implement and manage the organization to a vision aligned with the Firm’s goals through Analytics and Data. 5+ years in leading teams across various skillsets and geographies. Strategic mindset with deep intellectual curiosity and a self-starter attitude. Exceptionally strong client management and executive-level communication skills. Ability to anticipate and resolve issues with urgency in a rapidly changing business and technical environment. Nice-to-have

Prior financial services industry experience. Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and managerial oversight. Experience leading large cross-functional initiatives requiring strategic direction. Experience designing, building, and implementing Data and Analytics at other firms. Interest in Data, AI and Machine Learning; familiarity with AI/ML concepts is beneficial. What’s in it for you?

The expected salary range for this position is $85,000-$150,000, depending on experience, skills, and business needs. You may have the potential to earn more through RBC’s discretionary variable compensation program, subject to performance targets and goals.
