SAP GTS Experienced Functional Analyst (contract) role at Boeing. This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project. Position Details
Regular and predictable attendance is required. Work statement is a non-managerial, non-leadership role. This position will focus on implementation and support of SAP projects based on S/4HANA technology. A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position will work directly with multiple stakeholders including business, solution architects and developers to implement SAP projects. Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for all GTS-related processes. Lead requirements validation, workshops, development of functional design, design functional and UAT test scripts, and assist with training development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising business SMEs, Architects, Developers and SIs on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current systems. Identify, recommend and implement complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation. Ability to handle and lead the development of WRICEF objects independently in collaboration with ABAP team. SAP GTS Configuration: Customize and configure the SAP GTS module to align with global trade compliance requirements (tariff classification, SPL, export control, import/export compliance, product classification). Compliance Management: Lead the design and implementation of compliance processes (sanctioned party list screening, embargo checks, legal control) to ensure adherence to global trade regulations. Customs Management: Drive configuration and optimization of import/export declaration processes and customs procedures for efficient cross-border operations. Risk Management: Oversee product classification, preference determination, and origin management to reduce duty costs and ensure regulatory alignment across regions. Enable seamless integration with government platforms by configuring electronic filing processes and submitting trade documents accurately and on time. Trade Compliance Management: Develop and maintain trade compliance processes including import/export documentation, screening, and embargo/sanction checks. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the SAP GTS system, including maintenance of product master data, customs information, and compliance documentation. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and colleagues to enhance understanding of SAP GTS functionality and best practices. Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about changes in international trade regulations and trade compliance laws to ensure ongoing compliance and adjust systems as needed. Troubleshooting: Serve as the point of contact for SAP GTS issues and implement solutions to resolve system and process discrepancies. Required Skills
8-12 years of hands-on SAP GTS experience with strong configuration expertise Experience in a minimum of 2-3 global implementation projects Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and trade finance Extensive integration experience with SAP SD, MM, EHS, FI and SAP TM Proven ability to gather project requirements, participate in workshops, and drive detailed design in SAP S/4HANA Experience with S/4HANA, aware of differences between releases and new innovations in each release Knowledge of SAP module-specific user exits, batch jobs and standard SAP reports Familiar with supply chain business models and Fiori UI Understanding of business functionalities in Aerospace and Defense industry is an added advantage Relevant SAP Certifications in SAP EWM are an added advantage Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher Typical Education & Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Pay Rate
