Water Polo Boys/Girls Assistant Coach at Napa High School. This role involves coaching and supporting high school water polo athletes within the Napa Valley Unified School District community. Position open until filled. Applicants should apply through Ed Join. The season begins in August and runs through October, with some off-season activities expected. Responsibilities

Assist in coaching Water Polo for boys and girls. Qualifications

Experience in water polo and coaching, with a history of working with student-athletes at the high school level. Must obtain First Aid/CPR, NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching, NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest, NFHS Concussion in Sports and NFHS Heat and Illness prevention, as well as all other Napa Valley Unified School District Human Resources required documents. Must be willing and able to work with ACHS staff, student athletes, parents, administration, and ACHS Athletic Booster Club. Basic knowledge of: 1) character-building aspects of sports; 2) physical capacities and limitations of the age group coached; 3) coaching principles related to educational philosophy, adolescent psychology, nutrition, risk management, and the rules and strategies of the sport. Compensation

Assists with a booster stipend paid at the end of the season. Additional Information
