The Senior Vice President of Operations will play a vital role within the Qcells USA Corp organization to enable our vision of becoming the leading solar solution provider in the Americas. The Senior Vice President of Operations is expected to draw upon a fundamental engineering background and direct construction project management experience to lead the buildout of MW-scale ground mount PV power plants and MWh of battery storage plants. The role includes building and mentoring multiple diverse project management and construction teams located throughout the Americas, and overseeing a broad network of suppliers and partners. This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and is based in the Houston, TX office with a hybrid schedule. Travel up to 50% is expected. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; sponsorship is not offered. Responsibilities

Lead the internal PM & CM teams in the design and build out of solar PV and battery storage solutions Develop and implement the overall strategy for EPC projects, aligned with company goals and objectives Ensure effective project management practices so projects are completed successfully Measure and improve operational excellence, replicate best industry practices across business units to create a competitive EPC organization Provide senior management oversight for a portfolio of project teams across construction phases, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, budget adherence, and specifications Collaborate with preconstruction, engineering, estimating, business development and other departments for new and existing business opportunities Coordinate with other departments to ensure project resources are available for successful completion Build and maintain strong client relationships, meeting and exceeding client needs and expectations Responsible for the overall profitability of the assigned portfolio of projects Perform other duties and special projects as assigned Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field 15 years of experience in engineering or construction 10 years of leadership experience Experience in self-performance, EPC, utility-scale solar, and BESS projects Solid experience with current solar EPC tools and processes and knowledge of industry best practices and trends Ability to highlight key risk factors and deliver best EPC cost estimates Demonstrated track record of initiating programs that lead to significant cost reduction and/or performance improvement Understanding of solar module manufacturing and O&M experience is a plus Ability to manage and lead large technical organizations, including many suppliers and contractors Strong cross-cultural leadership and collaboration skills Strategic perspective with action orientation and continuous improvement mindset Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Professional demeanor and teamwork Willingness to travel domestically and internationally Physical Demands

Stationary position: up to 90% of the time, including sitting Move/Traverse: occasional bending, standing, stooping, and walking Carry weight: infrequent lifting (up to 10 pounds) Hearing and Speech: ability to communicate clearly with others Sight: use of computer and documents Climb: occasional stairs Travel: up to 50% as needed Work Environment
