Performs technical, administrative, control, and bookkeeping duties related to reviewing approved assets before booking. Major responsibilities include quality control by reviewing signed legal documents and loan inputs to ensure compliance with approved lines, verifying terms and conditions, and line of credit availability. Also serves as a backup in the asset approval process. Responsibilities
Review loans and letters of credit inputs before approval to ensure compliance with terms and conditions. Ensure loans comply with terms, rates, approvals, documents, credit authorization, disbursal amounts, and correct general ledger entries. Approve loan, investment, and letter of credit transactions in the absence of the AVP Loans & L/C Team Leader. Monitor legal documentation, audit safekeeping, and follow up on pending documents. Assist with calculations, investigations, and respond to branch and customer inquiries. Calculate figures such as interest, discounts, commissions, and percentages. Prepare daily collateralized lending reports. Provide information related to risk management, auditing, operations, and quality improvement as needed. Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills. Write routine reports and correspondence. Multitask and work under pressure. Present effectively before groups of customers or employees. Adapt to evolving duties and responsibilities. Work hours as required, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Travel as needed. Provide coverage for other positions as requested. Carry and lift objects weighing between 10 and 25 pounds. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Pre-hire Requirements
Proficiency with IBM-compatible PCs, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite. Experience with E-IBS is preferred but not required. Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college. Minimum of seven years of banking experience. Additional Details
