Transportation Technology and Global Process Owner Director role at 3M. Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world to lead transportation technology strategy, systems, and governance within Global Logistics. Responsibilities

Evaluate and identify gaps in transportation systems (e.g., TMS, visibility platforms such as Four Kites, Infor Nexus, KN EOC) across the network. Lead Transportation Technology Strategy & Management, including implementation, optimization, and performance of TMS and visibility platforms, with ML/AI where appropriate, aligned to business objectives. Drive systems-enabled value creation and govern strategic initiatives to accelerate decision making and remove barriers to program success. Enhance supply chain transparency by improving real-time visibility and analytics for end-to-end shipments. Partner with the DAA organization and logistics operations to build a clear Data Analytics roadmap and deliver a single source of truth. Create content for core reviews and develop slides to support 3M Logistics strategy (Improvement Reviews, BOD, etc.). Develop and communicate storylines for clarity and alignment across the organization. Manage data quality, adoption rates, and KPIs to measure platform effectiveness; ensure 3M TMS implementation is standardized across sites. Identify change impact for new systems/technologies and collaborate with operations and Organizational Change Management for successful rollout and user adoption. Maintain relationships with transportation technology providers and lead quarterly business reviews; stay informed on emerging visibility technologies and lead adoption initiatives. Program manage process mapping and reengineering for logistics systems; promote industry best practices and share insights with operations leadership. Develop training content for logistics systems to enable onboarding and product improvements across 3M operations. Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) for existing and new systems and technologies. Prepare stakeholders for leadership reviews and liaise with IT to ensure alignment with the global IT roadmap. Identify and manage strategic transportation initiatives and interdependencies across programs and priorities. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start). Ten (10) years of experience in supply chain and/or merchandise flow in private, public, government, or military environments. Preferred/Additional Qualifications

7–10 years of experience in logistics technology or logistics operations. 5–7 years of experience in logistics technology selection, visibility, and implementation/deployment. 1–3 years of process management and program management. BA or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Familiarity with WMS/WES, TMS, visibility platforms, sourcing platforms, and freight payment. Strong understanding of transportation visibility technologies and their practical application to improve supply chain performance. Analytical skills with experience in developing and tracking performance metrics; excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration. Leadership experience in guiding initiatives, managing complex projects, and leading technology implementations. Work Location and Travel

On-site role with primary duties in Maplewood, MN; travel may be required. Travel may include up to 10% domestically/internationally. Other Details
