Senior Engineer
to join our
Workday Financials
team. This position includes design, development, testing and deployment of various functionality using Workday core toolset. You will help drive our insurance business transformation as we transition from a traditional IT model to a tech organization with engineering excellence as its mission, while co-creating the culture of psychological safety and continuous improvement. Our Senior Engineer is a key member of the engineering staff working across the organization to provide a frictionless experience to our customers and maintain the highest standards of protection and availability. The team delivers high-quality technology products and services in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly. The ideal candidate has broad and deep technical knowledge which includes Workday Financials, Integrations, PRISM, Reporting and Accounting Center. Position details
Location: Remote Base pay range:

Provide expertise in Workday Financials Modules — specifically Workday Billing, Procurement, Payables, Assets and General Ledger Manage system architecture of the Workday Financial system Provide support for Workday Security and other functional areas Build product definition and leverage technical skills to drive the right solution Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the software lifecycle Lead in design sessions and code reviews to elevate engineering quality Ensure data and application accuracy and integrity through analysis, documentation and problem resolution Analyze and translate business specifications and change requests into technical specifications Collaborate with other teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in Workday tools Stay current with technology trends, participate in communities, and mentor other engineers Mentor other engineers and share best practices to improve processes Qualifications
Experience assessing current solutions and providing best practices Experience with Finance Transformation projects Knowledge of Workday development tools (EIB, Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, BIRT) Experience designing, developing, implementing and maintaining solutions Expert at creating complex calculated fields Experience building scalable, resilient, highly available systems Advanced understanding of monitoring concepts and tooling Experience with Agile methods and Azure Experience architecting and designing new and current systems Strong problem-solving ability and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development lifecycle Ability to prioritize workload and work independently or in a team Experience
4+ years of professional software development experience within the Workday ecosystem focused on Financials 3+ years of experience with architecture and design 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience Other
