Temporary FP&A Manager
to support a fast-paced, private equity-backed organization during a critical transition period. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly integrate into a dynamic environment. Location:
Hybrid – 3 days onsite in
Monmouth County, NJ Duration:
30–40 day assignment Start Date:
ASAP Compensation:
$50–$65/hour
(commensurate with experience) Industry:
Private Equity-Backed (strongly preferred) Key Responsibilities:
Lead short-term
financial planning and analysis
initiatives to support strategic decision-making Develop and refine
forecasting models ,
cash flow projections , and
budget variance analysis Partner with department heads to gather data and provide actionable insights Support
monthly close
and
reporting cycles , ensuring accuracy and timeliness Assist in preparing
board-level presentations
and
investor reports Identify and implement
process improvements
to streamline reporting and analysis Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure financial alignment Qualifications:
5+ years
of FP&A or corporate finance experience, preferably in a
private equity-backed
environment Strong proficiency in
Excel
and financial modeling Experience with
ERP systems
and
financial reporting tools Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Excellent communication skills and ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus) Work Environment:
