Overview
LHH is working with an AP team that is looking for a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to assist for the next three months. This individual will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring vendors are paid in a timely manner. The team is looking for a candidate with at least two years of AP experience and professional communication skills. This position is fully onsite in the north Seattle, WA office. Free parking is offered. Responsibilities
Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to validate transactions. Prepare and execute weekly, biweekly, and monthly payment runs. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions and supporting documents. Communicate effectively with vendors, internal departments, and team members regarding payment inquiries and issues. Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting. Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. At least two years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role. Proficiency in accounting software (such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar platforms). Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and AP practices. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Temporary for three months. Fully onsite in the north Seattle, WA office. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Pay Details:
