Overview

The Sales & Service Manager is a critical member of the store leadership team accountable for bringing Alo’s business and guest experience strategy to life in the store. This role is focused on sales, guest experience, and elevating talent to meet Alo’s values. The guest experience in the store should be exceptional. Duties require movement in and around the store, including the sales floor and back of house. When not assisting guests, the role performs other tasks as needed to keep the store clean, safe, inviting and operating efficiently. Sales & Service Leadership Responsibilities

Investigate and root cause sales opportunities, partnering with the General Manager to escalate process or system gaps Oversee the Sales & Service team to deliver an exceptional guest experience on the floor through guest connection and technical product education, providing feedback and coaching to address gaps Continue to build client relationships daily with customers Ensure effective sales floor coverage through workforce planning and leading selling initiatives Partner with the General Manager to build and implement the Sales & Service strategy for the store Business Leadership

Represent the business in meetings and conference calls, in partnership with the General Manager Review, monitor and partner with the General Manager to manage budget, reporting and data; including metrics (e.g., expenses, sell-thru) and inform planning (e.g., quarterly business review and sales planning) Plan for future business needs to protect optimal performance People Leadership

Ensure the Sales, Service, and Community team embodies Alo's mission and guiding principles to clearly communicate who we are and why we do what we do Lead a team through accountability, ongoing coaching, talent development, and effective communication Establish internal and external pipelines through succession planning and recruitment strategy Write effective schedules aligned with business strategy in partnership with the General Manager/Store Manager Business Partnership

Oversee the execution of key deliverables on the Alo Sales & Service Model to protect operational efficiency Collaborate with the General/Store Manager’s vision and work cross-functionally with business partners to support organizational goals Demonstrate an ability to navigate the organization balancing business needs and brand culture Sales & Service Leadership Qualifications

3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Agile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment Independent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability Requires constant movement in and around all areas of the store Aligns with Alo’s guiding principles Ability to lift, push, carry or move up to 50 pounds Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder Ability to stand and move for an entire shift Schedule and Benefits

To build a balanced schedule that supports the needs of the business and our teams, all full-time employees should be available for opening, closing and weekend shifts. This role is eligible for the Monthly Store Incentive bonus program, which may increase total compensation.
