Manager, Global Compensation - Chicago or Decatur, IL. This role serves as a strategic advisor and operational leader, driving the execution and governance of global compensation programs. The role partners with HR and business leaders to develop competitive and compliant compensation strategies that attract, retain, and motivate talent across all regions, while providing data-driven insights, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting pay transparency. Responsibilities
Act as a strategic advisor to HR team and/or business leader on compensation strategies that reward talent that drives business impact with market competitiveness balanced with cost sustainability for the enterprise Contribute to career architecture roll out and lead sub-project that helps develop frameworks that aligns with our compensation philosophy and complies with local regulations Assist with defining global compensation strategies, programs for salaried and hourly population that aligns with the organization’s business and talent objectives to attract, retain, and motivate talent across all regions. Manage various compensation programs and processes, that include, but are not limited to the annual year-end cycle, pay equity reviews, program enrollments Leverage data modeling and dashboards to generate actionable insights from large compensation datasets, ensuring high-quality data analysis to inform pay decisions and strategies Maintain governance processes for job evaluation and role classification across business units and regions Manage the execution of processes and reporting to ensure compliance with evolving pay transparency requirements across multiple jurisdictions Ensure global compliance with local compensation regulations and labor laws Design and implement training materials and communications to educate HR partners and colleagues on compensation programs, policies, and practices Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field 6+ years of experience in compensation managing with business and financial acumen Deep understanding of compensation practices, job structuring, benchmarking methodologies, market analysis, pay equity and transparency requirements Demonstrated problem-solving and process improvement skills, with the ability to think creatively, learning quickly, and build efficient solutions Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively educate and build consensus at all levels in light of changing employment and compensation laws Exceptional project management skills with an ability to manage simultaneous projects, stay attentive to details with an emphasis on accuracy, and ability to see the broader picture Excited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed? Req: 101724BR The pay range for this position is expected to be between $100,100.00 - $184,700.00. Salaried and non-exempt employees may be eligible for overtime pay where applicable.
