Position Overview KKR is seeking a Human Capital Operations Professional to be based in the growing Boston, MA office. This role will collaborate closely with the global Human Capital (HC), Corporate Services and Real Estate, and Technology teams to enhance system processes in conjunction with overall goals and objectives. This role is responsible for ensuring day-to-day execution of and providing HC support to employees for all transactions within Workday. The incumbent will also collaborate with HC colleagues on employee onboarding/off-boarding, processing employee transfers, and general coordination of information to ensure seamless processing of hires, exits, moves, and other transactions both within and outside of the HRIS systems. While the role is primarily focused on the AMER region, the remit is global and will involve close coordination and support across the global HC Operations team.

Responsibilities

Workday Employee Data Management: Process hires, exits, transfers, and other employee data. Ensure data is accurate and that processes are moving along efficiently.

Position Management and Reporting: Support position management and reporting in Workday and Greenhouse, ensuring data is accurate and complete.

Onboarding and Offboarding Support: Guide new joiners through pre-hire and onboarding processes, and assist leavers as they exit the firm, ensuring a smooth transition.

Background Checks and Follow-ups: Conduct background checks as part of the hiring process and for compliance-related recertifications; follow up on any discrepancies or required actions.

Document Collection and Verification: Collect and verify work authorization, visa-related documents, and other necessary paperwork on the employee’s first day.

Onboarding Coordination: Coordinate and guide new hires through Workday onboarding processes, ensuring they have a positive and seamless experience.

Employee Assistance: Assist employees with personal data updates, queries, and HR-related issues as needed.

Subject Matter Expertise: Become a subject matter expert (AMER focus) in all Human Capital Operations activities and business processes, providing guidance and support to HR and employees.

Process Improvement: Document, map, and improve HR processes; partner with the Human Capital Systems team to drive changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Reporting and Analysis: Run reports, analyze operational metrics, and communicate insights to support decision-making.

System Testing and Validation: Participate in testing and validation of system enhancements, ensuring they meet the needs of the firm with a focus on AMER-specific processes.

Compliance: Ensure all HR activities comply with local labor laws and regulations.

Collaboration: Work with HR teams in other regions to share best practices and ensure consistency in HR operations.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a financial or professional services environment.

Strong working knowledge of MS Office; proficient with Excel.

Understanding of HR processes and regulations in the Americas.

Experience managing processes and data in Workday, Greenhouse ATS, and ServiceNow (strongly preferred).

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Compensation and Benefits This is the expected annual base salary range for the Boston-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience, and qualifications for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on individual and team performance.

Base Salary Range: $75,000 — $90,000 USD
