LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Purchase Order Coordinator for our client in Bethpage, Long Island. In this role, you will be the central point for managing purchase orders across all company locations. You’ll work closely with the AP Manager and Director to ensure smooth operations and accurate documentation. This role is immediate. Start Quickly. Key Responsibilities
Create, issue, revise, and cancel purchase orders using Nexus and Excel Track building expenses and capital project spending Match and attach printed checks to invoices for handwritten signatures Maintain logs and manage manual, paper-based processes File and organize clerical documents Confirm insurance compliance with Risk Management before issuing labor-related POs Place online orders and obtain quotes when needed Support backlog clearance and other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For
1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or purchasing Associate’s degree preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Experience with Nexus Payables and MRI is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Independent, proactive, and a go-getter attitude Comfortable in a manual, paper-heavy environment Ability to work with a particular AP Manager and a collaborative team Schedule & Perks
Hours: 9 AM – 5 PM Free lunch daily Work with a family-run team — 5 family members are involved in day-to-day operations Depending on experience — $28-32 per hour APPLY TODAY!! Pay Details:
