8-Month Contract About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Accounts Receivable Specialist
to join our team on an
8-month contract . This hybrid role, based in Seattle, WA, will support the accounting department by managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate receivables records. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on schedule Record payments, apply cash receipts, and reconcile customer accounts Monitor accounts for overdue balances and follow up with customers on outstanding payments Work with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes Prepare aging reports and assist with cash flow forecasting Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding billing and payment status Assist auditors and management with documentation and reporting needs Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related accounting role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar a plus) Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting Why Join: Competitive pay of
