8-Month Contract About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Staff Accountant
to join our team on an
8-month contract . This hybrid position, based in Seattle, WA, will play a key role in supporting daily accounting operations, assisting with month-end close, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, analytical, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and other key accounts Assist with financial statement preparation and variance analysis Maintain accurate and organized accounting documentation Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation Collaborate with finance and operations teams on ad-hoc projects and reporting Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of accounting experience in a staff accountant or similar role Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar a plus) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment Why Join: Competitive pay of
