Overview
Boise State University Foundation is seeking the Senior Executive Director of Alumni & Donor Relations. This executive-level position provides strategic oversight of a comprehensive alumni and donor relations program, including event planning, donor stewardship and the development of initiatives that strengthen ties with alumni nationwide. The Sr. Executive Director will lead a team responsible for executing high-level events, managing major, annual and principal gift donors, and ensuring the effective use and impact of donor contributions. As the primary liaison to the Boise State University Alumni Association, this leader expands the university’s reach through a nationwide volunteer network while fostering lasting relationships with alumni and donors. This role offers significant autonomy to formulate and administer policies that impact alumni engagement and donor relations, while aligning with campus-wide initiatives and the Foundation’s leadership team.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic oversight of alumni relations and donor relations programs, including event planning and donor stewardship Lead and develop a team responsible for executing high-level events and managing major, annual and principal gift donors Serve as primary liaison to the Boise State University Alumni Association and expand the university’s reach through a nationwide volunteer network Formulate and administer policies that influence alumni engagement and donor relations, collaborating with Foundation leadership and university departments Ensure effective use and impact of donor contributions and align initiatives with campus-wide priorities Qualifications
Strong background in alumni relations, donor stewardship and strategic planning Master’s degree required At least 10 years of relevant experience About Boise State University Foundation
