Job Description:
The Senior Director, Customer Data Services & Analytics Partnerships will build and manage multiple Alliance partnerships, supporting the go to market for CDS&A solutions. This role will report to the SVP Alliance Partner Lead and will organize, team, and originate opportunities with new or existing customers to accelerate customer acquisition and market penetration overall. The individual will work closely with leadership to develop a quantifiable market expansion plan and will be responsible for identifying customer portfolio joint Alliance partner teaming, accelerating inbound opportunity origination, bringing Merkle customer opportunities to the Alliance partner, and will coordinate and oversee the alignment of Alliance Partner and Merkle business representatives to pipeline opportunities.
Closely working with sales and client teams, this role will support and lead relationships with the assigned Alliance partners.
You are:
Experienced in managing Alliance partners to achieve quarter over quarter revenue growth.
Organized and skilled at communicating relationship productivity and overall health.
Data-driven, proficient in sales process and methodologies, especially Alliance partner teaming models.
Well versed and current on the leading offerings, various marketing technologies, market trends, and solutions.
A persuasive, self-starter and quick study who is organized and disciplined.
Comfortable working with VP and SVP leadership.
A "plugged in" professional with an active network of contacts.
You will:
Align closely with the business on partnerships strategy and development.
Lead the partnership relationship with partner managers to increase sales and marketing programs directly with our partner's sales and marketing teams.
Function as a partner subject matter expert to support new sales at existing clients and new logos.
Train and support teams who match partner opportunities with the service provider partners they know, trust and believe will best help close deals for partner.
Execute your duties aligned with the approved partner plan for Merkle services and Merkle-influenced partner revenue.
Deliver, and contribute to, the joint narrative between Merkle and partner in cooperation with Merkle solution owners.
Cross-functionally support internal teams in identifying, developing and closing new business.
Lead enablement including participation in go-to-market activities, deal-registration/incentives, and management of Merkle presence with Partner.
Support the Partner alliance to higher levels of maturity across the Merkle Alliance Partner framework: Sales, Marketing, Enablement, Joint Initiatives, Delivery.
Contribute through internal teams to develop alliance partner offerings and go-to-market strategy.
Assist in managing the Power Map and advance Merkle's thesis into the partner team.
Execute solutions to meet the unique business needs of clients and effectively position the same.
This role will play a key part in driving wins at the most strategic accounts to support the success of our alliance program.
Position Merkle as a leader in the Alliance partner ecosystem with access to partner leadership.
Achieve alliance metric targets across pipeline, revenue, and win rate.
Increase Alliance Partner maturity across the dimensions of the Merkle Alliance Partner Framework.
Minimum of five to seven years of overall professional experience in digital media, marketing, consultative or alliance sales.
Domain knowledge in marketing technology and ad technology.
Experience and/or relationships with partners such as: Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Snowflake and/or Databricks.
Knowledge and understanding of digital agency marketplace.
Develop strong internal relationships within respective Verticals, Business Units and across Merkle.
The annual base salary range for this position is ($136,000 - $219,650). Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
