Senior Account Executive, Professional Services – Highwire This role is for a Senior Account Executive on Highwire's Professional Services team, focusing on strategic communications for financial services, insurtech, and professional services sectors. You will work with trusted brands and disruptors to navigate complex markets, build executive visibility, and lead conversations that influence industries. Base pay range: $63,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience; discuss with your recruiter for details.

What You’ll Do

Media & Influencer Relations: lead with relationships across at least 10 key publications; craft high-quality pitches aligned with client goals; identify new opportunities; develop influencer strategies on LinkedIn, podcasts, and niche financial media; utilize social channels to elevate client visibility; track performance and ROI; mentor junior team members. Client Service & Program Management: manage day-to-day client communications; lead weekly PR calls; oversee projects from start to finish; develop quarterly PR plans and calendars; monitor industry and regulatory news for proactive commentary; assist in media training and budget/resource planning. Writing & Content Development: write and edit content across financial, legal, and professional services contexts; produce press releases, pitches, executive commentary, contributed articles, blogs, abstracts, and briefing books; ensure tone and brand consistency. Insights, Analytics & Integration: lead client reporting; apply data to evolve storytelling and optimize campaigns; collaborate with content, design, social, and strategy teams; support AI adoption to enhance research and efficiency. Mentorship & Collaboration: coach junior staff, foster a collaborative culture, and demonstrate leadership across teams. Agency Engagement & Operations: support new business efforts, contribute research for pitches, participate in industry events, and promote flexible work culture. Professional Growth & Self-Development: set quarterly goals, prioritize tasks, take ownership of timelines, seek feedback, and stay current on financial services and related industries.

What You Bring

3–5 years of PR/communications experience in an agency setting (required) Experience in financial services, insurtech, or professional services industries (required) Strong media relationships across business, financial, and trade outlets Ability to distill complex topics into engaging stories; excellent writing and editing skills Confidence managing client relationships and internal teams; familiarity with analytics tools and reporting A collaborative, solutions-oriented, growth-minded approach
