MD or DO, Board Certified, Knowledge of computer systems and applications to include but not limited to EPIC. Experience/Qualifications:

New grad or experienced will be considered, MD or DO and Board Certified or Board eligible. Position Summary This role is for a physician who wants to practice through providing compassionate, patient centered care. Patients are seen in the office and hospital rounding is required. Maintenance of timely, accurate and detailed medical records using E Clinical Works (ECW), the Medical Center’s office based EMR is required. Prescribes medication or therapy when necessary. Recommends lifestyle changes as appropriate to improve quality of life. Explains all medical procedures thoroughly. Explains test results and provide patients with plan of care details. Consults with other doctors as appropriate about patient’s specific needs. Participates in tumor boards and multi-disciplinary clinics. Serves on hospital Medical Staff and related committees when requested. Seeks to improve patient satisfaction scores and team member goals. Participates in business development and marketing activities to grow the business. Understanding of physician practice environment. Excellent communication skills at all levels. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Must be able to sit, stand, walk for long periods of time, be flexible enough to twist, bend lift assist, transport patients via wheelchair and stretcher. Be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Perform CPR and patient assessments. Threshold Requirements These threshold requirements are required and completed on a yearly basis. Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation, TB/PPD Surveillance Program and Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
