Core Faculty
members in our Family Medicine Residency Program. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a
progressive and collaborative team
committed to training and developing future family practitioners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for
teaching, leadership, and clinical excellence
in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities Clinical Teaching & Supervision Actively teach and mentor residents and medical students in inpatient and outpatient clinical practice Oversee the education and performance of residents and medical students. Supervise outpatient prenatal care provided by residents. Participate in optional inpatient rounding with residents approximately every 4–6 weeks (subject to faculty schedules) Academic Leadership & Program Development Deliver 8–12 lectures annually on key Family Medicine topics. Regularly review and enhance the residency curriculum. Lead and contribute to residency committees. Oversee quality improvement projects across the residency program. Resident Advising & Procedural Supervision Serve as an advisor and mentor, providing guidance to residents. Perform and supervise common outpatient procedures, including: Musculoskeletal procedures Dermatologic procedures Gynecologic procedures (Pap smears, contraception procedures, colposcopy) Work Experience Spanish Speaking is HIGHLY desirable Geriatrics or Palliative Care trained Family Medicine physician: The Geriatrics or Palliative Care faculty will help lead our Geriatrics-Palliative Care track POCUS, including 1st trimester Ob ultrasound MAT experience is a plus Ability to precept vasectomies is a plus Ability to precept circumcisions is a plus OB is optional Benefits Competitive Salary with strong earning potential Shareholder Opportunity after 2 years, with enhanced benefits Full Medical, Dental & Vision (100% premium paid for shareholders) Up to 267 PTO Hours (vacation, sick, CME, holidays) Retirement Plan with 3% Safe Harbor CME Allowance: Yearly Allowance Disability & Life Insurance: Group-paid, including $50K life insurance Short-Term Disability: Covered for shareholders Cell Phone Stipend License & DEA Fees Covered PIH Health is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
