SBI Consultants Inc is currently looking for a
Senior Project Manager
(SPM) to join our team. SPM oversees planning, directing, and coordination activities of designated project(s) to ensure that the Clients' goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. This is a key role that serves as a liaison between the Client and other parties involved in the project. As a Subject Matter Expert and Key Team member, SPM supports executive leadership team initiatives in further growing business and developing internal team and infrastructure to support the growth. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Planning and Execution: developing project plans, schedules, and budgets; defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables; allocating resources and coordinating project team members; ensuring projects are executed within budget and timeline; managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies; monitoring project progress and conducting regular status meetings; conducting project evaluations and lessons learned sessions; ensuring adherence to quality standards and client requirements. Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Identifying client needs and expectations. Managing client communication and resolving any issues. Providing regular project updates and progress reports to clients. Seeking opportunities for additional project engagements or upselling. Acting as a point of contact for client inquiries and concerns. Conducting client satisfaction surveys and addressing feedback. Financial Management: Preparing project budgets and forecasts. Monitoring project financials, including revenue and expenses. Tracking project costs and ensuring profitability. Managing project invoicing and ensuring timely payments. Conducting financial analysis and identifying areas for cost savings. Collaborating with finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. Team Leadership and Management: Leading and motivating project teams. Assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members. Providing guidance and support to project team members. Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback. Mentoring and developing junior project managers. Risk and Change Management: Identifying project risks and developing risk mitigation strategies. Implementing change management processes. Assessing the impact of changes on project timelines, budgets, and resources. Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Participating in proposal development and client presentations. Supporting BD efforts, including scoping and fee estimation. Project Reporting and Documentation: Preparing project status reports and dashboards. Documenting project processes, decisions, and outcomes. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor and/or Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university. 7+ years of relevant industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience managing a process on a large project or managing a small project is required. Experience in all stages of a project - from estimating to close out - is a must. 5+ years of experience managing internal and external team members and key stakeholders. COMPENSATION: Offered rate of compensation will commensurate with individual education, qualifications, experience, skills and work location. Salary range for this position is $120,000 - $175,000 annually plus Performance Bonus and Profit Sharing Bonus.
