We have an opportunity for an Area Head of Product: Cold Store SAI, to oversee all cold store operations across SAI area. This is responsible for the strategic planning, marketing and overall management of a product throughout its lifecycle.
Product management involves activities such as market research, defining product vision and strategy, gathering user requirements, creating a product roadmap, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing product launches, and analyzing product performance. Product management involves working with various teams, such as engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure the successful development, launch, and ongoing management of the product.

Collaborate with commercial team to conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, client leads and maintain beneficial relationships with clients, suppliers and other business partners Lead cross functional teams to drive product strategy (Value Proposition, Growth and Product Road Map) Oversee key business projects related to cold store operations. Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans. Measure and ensure the success of new cold store projects against Business Case and make beneficial changes to deliver ROI and future projects. Responsible for reviewing government and industry regulations to ensure the company’s actions comply with those regulations Collaborate with other key stake holders to conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation plans to ensure business continuity. Ensure strategic goals are met by setting operational policies, creating and maintaining budgets, managing employees, and more Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Manage inventory control, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of fruit products. Ensure Certification in place for handling product to relevant markets (DALRRD/PPECB/China and USA, etc.) Work with the Construction, Implementation and Delivery teams to ensure effective commissioning of the facility. Team Leadership:
Lead, train, and develop a team of warehouse and logistics personnel. Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement. Logistics and Coordination:
Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. Optimize logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Quality Control:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health, safety, and environmental guidelines. Monitor and maintain the quality and integrity of stored products, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Customer Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication. Develop a Commercial Strategy and implement accordingly. Work with Maersk Reefer Sales Team to develop client pipeline. Financial Management:
Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings. Analyze financial performance and generate reports for senior management. Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and expand business opportunities. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements, incorporating best practices into the facility's operations. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
