Job Description Position Overview

This role develops and manages production schedules to meet forecasted demand while balancing cost efficiency, plant capacity, and customer requirements. The Production Planner works closely with operations, supply chain, third-party manufacturers, and global affiliates to execute production plans and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities Create and maintain monthly production schedules and capacity plans with a daily view of progress. Prepare and manage purchase requisitions/orders for tolling and buy/resale operations. Monitor inventory levels, distribute periodic reports (inventory, carbon-chain balance, etc.). Identify and mitigate critical shortages in collaboration with supply chain and planning leaders. Assist with bill of materials (BOM) and recipe set-ups for new materials. Provide short-term solutions for moderately complex planning issues. Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve material shortages, forecast variances, or capacity constraints. Support special projects and various plant departments as business needs evolve. Work Environment Hybrid model : 3 days on site / 2 remote with flexible start/end times. Planning relies heavily on

Microsoft Excel ; advanced proficiency is essential. Small team environment where strong communication and collaboration are critical. Qualifications Bachelor's degree

in Supply Chain, Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, process manufacturing, inventory control, or production planning (chemical industry preferred). Advanced Excel skills

for data analysis, planning, and reporting. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP experience a plus). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an engineering mindset. Excellent verbal and written communication to convey plans, impacts, and updates to stakeholders. Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing demands.
