Straight 8-hour shifts; every other weekend required
Pay Rate: $27/hr Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
with pediatric and acute care experience for an exciting 12-week contract assignment in Syracuse, NY. The CNA will play a vital role in delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to pediatric patients in a Level 1 trauma setting. Requirements: Active
New York State CNA certification CPR certification
(or ability to obtain/renew) Minimum
1 year of patient care experience Successful completion of
pre-employment health clearance Prior
Level 1 trauma experience required Key Responsibilities: Provide direct and indirect nursing care, including taking vital signs, assisting with toileting, bathing, and feeding. Act as a patient safety companion for those at risk. Demonstrate understanding of normal growth and development, responding appropriately to changing patient needs. Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and the broader healthcare team. Communicate clearly, problem-solve efficiently, and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient care outcomes. Foster positive relationships with patients and their families. Accurately obtain, document, and report patient information. Support professional development while adhering to ethical standards and patient-centered care principles.
