UW Medicine IT Services (ITS) is a shared services organization supporting UW Medicine, including Harborview Medical Center, UW Medical Center – Montlake and Northwest Campuses, Valley Medical Center, UW Medicine Primary Care, UW Physicians, UW School of Medicine, and Airlift Northwest. ITS is responsible for ongoing support and maintenance of infrastructure and applications, implementation of new services, and enabling UW Medicine’s mission. Position Highlights

The primary focus of the ITS Organizational Change Management Lead (OCM Lead) is to lead the broader portfolio of projects needing change management expertise. This role oversees all change management activities related to high and medium ITS project rollouts, ensuring successful adoption and sustained use of the requested project to meet organizational objectives. Design, develop, and implement effective change management strategies that drive adoption, minimize resistance, and align project outcomes with UW Medicine goals Facilitate user readiness, align leadership, and integrate strategic communications to support enterprise-wide technology and process changes Act as an OCM Practitioner on applicable projects Develop OCM strategies and templates for use across the ITS organization Provide training on OCM templates to the ITS organization Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, or related field, or equivalent education/experience 8+ years of overall experience with at least: 8+ years in organizational change management, strategic communications, or organizational development 3+ years delivering change management solutions in healthcare, preferably academic medical centers or health IT Demonstrated success partnering with Project Management teams to integrate change management into enterprise delivery Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project methodologies Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with diverse stakeholders in complex healthcare and IT environments Proficiency with MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Word, Project); familiarity with change management tools or IT collaboration platforms is a plus About UW Medicine – Where Your Impact Goes Further
