CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
Location: Franklin TN 37064 – Hybrid Payrate: $16.79/hr Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Hybrid schedule: Remote Monday and Friday, On-site Tuesday to Thursday
CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Credentialing Specialist will support credentialing and onboarding activities for agents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and data integrity. This role involves reviewing and validating provider/producer information, maintaining credentialing databases, and collaborating with agents to complete records.
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review, analyze, evaluate, and validate provider/producer information against credentialing requirements Maintain credentialing databases with accuracy and attention to detail Process agent onboarding contracts and verify insurance licenses Add appointments and confirm records are complete and validated Research and resolve sensitive provider/producer issues, ensuring data integrity Utilize multiple systems and online resources to support credentialing activities
CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST | REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED (Verifiable) | (Associate’s degree preferred) Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. 1+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting Insurance knowledge a strong plus Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities (letters, emails, memos) Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access) and internet resources Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
