Jointly responsible with the Project Manager for the overall success of the project. Responsible for meeting schedule, controlling costs, and managing manpower and equipment on assigned project. Provide hands-on field supervision of all construction operations, including subcontractors, directing planning, scheduling, and execution of work on time, within budget, and to high standards of workmanship. Lead the on-site team from construction start through project close and promote a positive company image. Maintain safety and ensure project goals are met or exceeded. Maintain the project schedule by updating a weekly 2–3 week look-ahead, coordinating with subs to ensure necessary equipment and materials are on site to meet deadlines. Review progress and adjust manpower; maintain current plans, specs, and submittal data. Verify workmanship meets specifications and maintain redline drawings. Manage constructability discussions and provide guidance on project strategy and milestones. Create and submit Daily Job reports and Incident reports; maintain punch lists and ensure timely completion. Lead project meetings (pre-construction, progress, safety, and information sessions) and maintain on-site safety, cleanliness, and orderliness. Collaborate with the Project Manager to address issues of constructability, scope, and scheduling throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications
Experience and requirements: 10+ years of experience in commercial supervision of ground-up and fit-out projects for a general contractor 10+ years reading and interpreting drawings/blueprints OSHA certifications (preferred) Valid driver’s license with ability to travel Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship Willingness to work additional hours to meet business goals Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills Proficiency with Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); Procore and scheduling knowledge a plus Ability to read and interpret drawings, verify subcontractor work, and manage on-site safety and quality Strong supervisory, communication, and leadership abilities Ability to collaborate with project manager to address constructability and scope during preconstruction Develop understanding of project strategy, financial goals, scheduling, logistics, milestones, and inspections Maintain three-week look-ahead and manage reports (Daily Job, Incident, etc.) Benefits
