Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a contract with a client in Atlanta, Ga. The candidate will manage requirements gathering, gap analysis, and provide technical guidance while ensuring governance, communication, and roadmap alignment.
Rate Range: $49/hour to 64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Project Manager job responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timely delivery, and effective execution across all phases.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, identify gaps, and collaborate with stakeholders to close those gaps with actionable solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, facilitating communication and ensuring smooth execution of deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams, supporting design, implementation, and operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain project roadmaps, tracking milestones, budgets, and reporting progress to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure governance and compliance, managing change effectively and maintaining high standards of communication and documentation.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end project delivery, including stakeholder engagement, gap analysis, and vendor coordination.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience in developing roadmaps, managing governance, and ensuring alignment across business and IT teams.
Pay Details: $49.00 to $64.00 per hour
