POSITION: GENERAL MAINTENANCE/CUSTODIAL TRAINER ~ UINTAH SCHOOL DISTRICT MAINTENANCE (Full-Time, 250-day Contract Position with Benefits)
District Expectations The Maintenance Technician/Custodial Trainer will:
Perform a variety of maintenance tasks; Install various items (e.g. cabinets, white boards, window glass, doors, and door hardware, etc.); Building repairs; Maintain tools and machinery in safe, efficient operating condition; Maintain doors and door hardware, basic locksmithing; Maintain and do basic repairs on custodian equipment; Assist in training custodians and inspecting buildings; Snow removal; Perform other maintenance duties such as sprinkler installation, glazing, fencing, and mowing; Other duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor; Education/Experience:
High School Diploma; Experience in working on doors and door hardware; Basic locksmithing: Experience in custodial work and equipment repair; Have common knowledge of all aspects of maintaining and repairing facilities; 3-5 years related experience; Ability to use all power tools, hand tools, backhoe, forklift, and snow removal equipment.
