Role responsibilities as described for the Application Programmer - Level II and related activities, including program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Designing and building web pages using graphics software, and designing and developing user interface features, site animation, and special effects to enhance the organization’s online offerings. Designs the website to support the organization's external communications strategies and goals. Participate in all phases of application systems analysis and programming; update, repair, modify, and expand existing programs according to specifications. Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to capture, refine, and prioritize requirements. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver working features iteratively. Build, enhance, and maintain web applications with emphasis on reliability and performance. Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code with unit and integration tests. Participate in code reviews and apply secure coding and best practices. Plan and execute release activities, including environment readiness and rollback plans. Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, and resource usage. Create and maintain technical documentation (architecture, APIs, deployment runbooks). Provide production support, triage incidents, and implement preventative fixes. Coordinate with QA for test planning, defect triage, and acceptance criteria validation. Identity and technical stack requirements include expertise in .NET Framework and .NET Core, with advanced C# and/or VB.NET, strong client-side and server-side validation techniques, solid object-oriented design, and understanding of modern web app architecture and design patterns. Experience with IIS deployment, configuration, security, and migration of web apps from .NET Framework to .NET Core; data access with ADO.NET and Entity Framework; troubleshooting and root-cause analysis. Maintain alignment with DoD 8570.01-M-related certificate requirements where applicable. Qualifications
Six (6) years of progressive experience in the discipline with the required capabilities. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience. IT Security Designation: ADP/IT-II (and related certifications as specified in the posting). Commercial (Baseline) Certificates: IAT II as applicable. Benefits
