The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Stanford University seeks a candidate with a doctoral degree who is board certified/eligible in orthopaedic surgery specializing in orthopaedic pediatric surgery to join the Department as the Service Chief of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at the Associate Professor, or Professor rank on the University Medical Line (UML) or in the Clinician Educator (CE) Line. The selected candidate is expected to provide surgical and non-surgical care for orthopaedic patients, teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students, and pursue scholarly work in the candidate’s major areas of interest. Academic rank and line will be determined by qualifications and experience. Qualifications

Doctoral degree; board certified or eligible in orthopaedic surgery with specialization in orthopaedic pediatric surgery. Eligibility for a California Medical License. Compensation and Benefits

This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. For the position, the

Expected Base Pay Range

is as follows: Associate Professor or Clinical Associate Professor: $310,000-350,000 Professor or Clinical Professor: $310,000-350,000 The pay range does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
