Seeking an ambitious and results-driven
Business Development Manager
to play a pivotal role in growing our client base, driving revenue, and expanding our footprint in the disaster restoration market. This role provides a competitive base salary, uncapped incentives, and flexibility to work remotely after the training period. You will be part of a dynamic team that thrives on excellence and collaboration. Working for a leading full-service disaster restoration partner for commercial and residential properties throughout New England, providing services that include fire restoration, water mitigation, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and post-emergency reconstruction. Base pay range
$85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr What You'll Do
Grow our client portfolio and drive revenue across disaster restoration services, focusing on multi-family, hospitality, healthcare, and other commercial sectors. Drive New Business: leverage your existing book of business and actively prospect to expand into key verticals such as multi-family properties, healthcare, senior living, and hospitality; develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new clients and establish long-term partnerships. Client Relationship Management: build and maintain relationships with property managers, facilities managers, and decision-makers in your territory; schedule and lead 2–5 in-person client meetings per week to foster connections and uncover client needs. Revenue Growth: identify and pursue opportunities in fire, water, mold, and post-emergency reconstruction services, as well as capital projects like renovations; close deals by presenting tailored solutions that address client challenges, enhancing satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: work closely with operations, marketing, and project management teams to ensure seamless service delivery; align sales efforts with customer needs and project timelines. Leverage Tools and Technology: utilize Salesforce CRM (transitioning to IFS) to manage your pipeline, track progress, and follow up with leads; maintain meticulous records of all interactions and activities within the CRM system. Qualifications
3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in disaster restoration or adjacent industries (e.g., commercial landscaping, property management services). A proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, including property managers and facilities managers. Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and the ability to manage a pipeline of opportunities. A hunter mentality with a drive to seek out new business and expand existing accounts. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals that align with client needs and company goals. Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a remote role, managing time and responsibilities effectively. Competencies
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to travel within the New England area, with a primary focus on Connecticut, and occasionally nationwide as needed.
