O'Reilly Auto Parts Compensation Pay Range:

$17.07 - $24.50 The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Essential Job Functions

Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.

Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution on customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).

Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak retail business hours (lunch, late afternoons, evenings, weekends).

Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching/mentoring, and ensuring training is current.

Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to select qualified team members.

Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.

Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner and customers are contacted upon shipment arrivals as needed.

Utilize electronic outside purchase order ledger to ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently and according to procedure.

Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and friendly; refunds issued accurately; returned merchandise is processed or staged correctly.

Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store.

Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.

Ensure team members comply with company policies, adherence to posted work schedules, and proper clock-in/out procedures.

Perform all store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, money/deposits verification, bank deposits as needed, and security checks.

Assist in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, in-store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles.

All other duties as assigned.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required:

Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification

Desired:

Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
