The role supports the Pharma IM TranSCend program, a global business transformation initiative to modernize and standardize foundational transactional processes and move from seven ERP systems to one standardized digital platform. Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (JJIM) seeks a strong leader to define the Operate roadmap, prioritize new technical capabilities and enhancements to the SAP S/4 product in operations, and be responsible for technical delivery and value realization in steady-state operations in partnership with Business stakeholders. JJIM Transcend aims to enable a global intake, orchestration, refinement, delivery, and capacity management of demands in steady-state operations, ensuring alignment between business and technology stakeholders across operate/steady-state operations and the program team. Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Backlog Management: Own Operate Demand intake, shape and prioritize backlog. Balance business value with technical feasibility; refine backlog with technical features and epics. Help Product Owners prioritize backlogs, lead product/platform constraints; resolve cross-team dependencies. Solution Design: Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Drive option selection and assess technical elements with Functional and Technical Engineers. Ensure solutions meet needs related to integrations and configurations. Drive automation testing and regression testing approaches. Delivery & Governance: Facilitate release planning and stakeholder demos. Manage integrated build with program and operate teams to ensure end-to-end solution compliance. Own governance, security, and CR/CO approvals for demands. Uphold Operate methodology for demand execution; ensure SDLC documentation and compliance activities are up to date. Stakeholder Alignment: Align diverse stakeholders (Business Product Owners, Global Template Owners, Technology Services, vendors) across the operate state. Bridge communication gaps and foster collaboration for unified demand management and delivery. Financial Management: Manage vendor/SOWs, finance, purchase orders, and invoicing in coordination with J&J finance to ensure accuracy and compliance. Leadership: Shape the squad’s vision and roadmap; drive measurement of capabilities against demand and complexity; enable a global intake and parallel program releases; foster continuous improvement and innovation. Education, Knowledge & Abilities

Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree Preferred Area of Study: Information Technology, Supply Chain Experience & Skills

Minimum 10 years of progressive, relevant work experience. Minimum 8 years of SAP experience with deep understanding of its technical and functional capabilities. Knowledge of SAP ERP and Pharma industry practices; understanding end-to-end business process linkages across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Finance and Master Data. Experience gathering requirements and translating into a product vision with expertise in product development, engineering, operations and UX. Strong track record of high-quality product delivery, including planning, dependency management, delivery execution & governance. Understanding of business needs, processes, value drivers, and industry trends. Experience leading a product backlog and release plan, supervising metrics, leading product ceremonies, removing blockers. Strong knowledge of SOX and GxP compliance. Extensive experience with Agile methodology and SDLC documentation. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
