Overview

Associate Director of Clinical Training - Open Roads at A Safe Haven. The role leads and expands clinical training programs, oversees supervision and development of psychology externs from APA-accredited programs, and spearheads the creation and accreditation of an APA Internship Program. The ideal candidate is a licensed psychologist with a passion for clinical education, program development, and advancing the next generation of behavioral health professionals. Responsibilities

Clinical Supervision & Training Provide direct clinical supervision to Psychology Externs. Implement and refine training curricula aligned with APA standards. Facilitate didactic seminars, case conferences, individual, and group supervision. Program Development Lead the design and implementation of an APA-accredited Psychology Internship Program. Collaborate with leadership to align training goals with organizational mission and clinical service lines. Ensure compliance with APA accreditation standards and state licensure requirements. Administrative & Leadership Duties Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and evaluation of externs and interns. Maintain documentation and records required for accreditation and licensure. Serve as a liaison with academic institutions. Quality & Compliance Promote evidence-based practices and ethical standards in clinical training. Monitor and evaluate training outcomes and clinical competencies. Support continuous quality improvement initiatives within the training program. Qualifications

Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program. Licensed Psychologist in the state of Illinois. Minimum 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience working with children and/or adolescents. Experience with running a training program preferred. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical education. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
