As a Fundamental Research Group (FRG) Associate, you will collaborate with Fixed Income Investment Professionals to deliver insights, conduct bottom-up fundamental research, and support investment decisions. Your responsibilities include analyzing companies and industries, financial modeling, engaging with management and industry experts, comparing relative values, and working on high-yield corporate credit investments. You will develop your skills through increasingly complex projects with mentorship from experienced professionals. Ideal Candidate Profile
Passionate about credit research, especially high-yield corporate credit investing. 2-5 years of credit research experience, with a preference for high-yield coverage. Strong desire to develop fundamental credit research skills. Extensive experience with financial modeling, credit analysis, and research tools such as Bloomberg and regulatory filings. Ability to create clear visualizations and communicate insights effectively. Team-oriented, curious, and proactive in sharing ideas. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Willingness to travel occasionally for research trips. Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, STEM, or related fields. Familiarity with programming languages and data visualization tools is a plus but not required. Compensation
Southern California Base Salary Range: $136,858-$218,973 New York Base Salary Range: $145,077-$232,123 Additional bonuses include performance bonuses, profit sharing, and a retirement plan with 15% employer contribution. More details on compensation and benefits are available
