A leading global investment management firm is seeking a Vice President to join its Corporate Credit Research team in Los Angeles. This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute to a well-established fixed income platform with a long history of performance and stability. Role Overview
The VP will be responsible for conducting deep credit research across both high yield and investment grade corporate issuers. Sector coverage is flexible, allowing the analyst to leverage existing expertise or broaden into new areas. The role involves close collaboration with portfolio managers and other investment professionals to drive idea generation and portfolio construction. Key Responsibilities
Perform fundamental credit analysis and financial modeling Monitor market developments and issuer-specific events Present investment recommendations to portfolio managers Contribute to both long-term positioning and tactical decision-making Candidate Requirements
Minimum 4 years of buy-side experience in corporate credit research Strong analytical and modeling skills Experience in either high yield, investment grade, or both Sector-agnostic background preferred Excellent communication and presentation skills CFA designation or progress toward it is a plus Why This Role?
