The Director of Finance is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day accounting operations, the monthly close process, financial statement preparation, analyses, regulatory reporting, as well as the strategic financial planning and reporting. The position requires knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The Director of Finance is a key member of the organization’s leadership team. Responsibilities

Take full ownership and accountability for all accounting operations, including daily cash management, accounts receivable and invoicing, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, fixed asset subledgers, and account reconciliations. Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and manage intercompany cash activities. Produce financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with the monthly close calendar and GAAP standards. Oversee the intercompany reconciliation process to ensure accuracy and compliance. Manage regulatory reporting obligations, including local business tax filings. Support the annual financial audit process by providing necessary documentation and responses. Safeguard the company’s assets by establishing, monitoring, and reviewing effective internal controls. Lead annual strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, monthly estimates, and business reviews in partnership with the President and executive leadership. Drive initiatives focused on automation, operational efficiency, and scalability to support organizational growth. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team. Perform additional projects and duties as required to support ongoing business needs. Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles, including advanced expertise in revenue recognition and lease accounting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Hands-on approach with a willingness to engage deeply in financial details. Proven ability to build and develop superior finance teams within dynamic, high-growth environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Commitment to continuous process improvement. Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to effectively influence and collaborate with direct reports, peers, and senior leaders. Education & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA license or equivalent certification preferred. 7+ years of progressive experience in financial management. Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in finance. Demonstrated financial, analytical, and business acumen. Seniority level
