The Director, Person-Centered Care Strategy and Innovation will work on high priority, high visibility initiatives in a rapidly evolving area within DaVita and the healthcare industry. This role collaborates with clinical, operating, and business leaders to reduce outcome disparities among DaVita’s patient population and serves as a leader, strategist, thought partner, executor, and internal consultant. Topics may include: Insight generation through data, trends, and qualitative information Development and operationalization of national and local person-centered care strategies, including pilots and program launches Initiation and/or support of national partnerships to impact barriers within scope (e.g., social determinants of health) Partnership with Government Affairs to understand policy landscape and DaVita’s positioning Remote role with a Denver preference. Responsibilities

Work closely with clinical teammates and develop relationships with operators, clinicians, and others Apply a hypotheses-based approach to identify, validate, quantify, and build buy-in around opportunities with clinical and business leadership Oversee teammates’ work, provide coaching, and develop team culture Analyze data, provide insights, and structure presentations to inform decision making Assess opportunities/priorities and define work plans Foster alignment across DaVita to integrate person-centered care vision Serve as an internal SME on person-centered care approaches Use continuous improvement tools to structure and incubate opportunities Manage new initiatives from idea to implementation: program design, training and materials, pilots, evaluation, and village-wide implementation Synthesize data to inform policy/advocacy recommendations Other duties as assigned Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required 5-10 years of strategy/operations experience in healthcare Dedication to caring for patients with chronic kidney failure; dialysis clinic operations experience preferred Passion for empowering patients to achieve optimal outcomes Strong accountability and ability to manage multiple projects Ability to engage with senior executives and external stakeholders Problem-solving, creative thinking, and hypothesis testing Team leadership with ability to delegate, develop, and mentor Values aligned with DaVita’s core values Presentation skills and ability to convey information to diverse audiences Data analysis and interpretation skills Understanding of the diverse circumstances DaVita patients face High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Ability to travel ~25% What We’ll Provide
