Academic Physician Gastroenterology & Hepatology position at West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine. Successful candidates will practice in Morgantown, WV and/or Fairmont, WV with ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The WVU Health System is the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, with 18 hospitals and multiple institutes and affiliated services. The role emphasizes patient care, teaching, and involvement in an expanding GI and Hepatology service line with a modern endoscopy center. Responsibilities
Practice gastroenterology and hepatology in Morgantown, WV and/or Fairmont, WV. Deliver excellent patient care and actively participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Contribute to a growing GI and Hepatology service line, including involvement with an endoscopy center featuring state-of-the-art suites and ERCP capabilities. Engage in academic pursuits and program development within a large referral academic center. Qualifications
MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent; eligible for state medical license. Completed an accredited internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship. Board eligible or board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology. All qualifications must be met by time of appointment. Additional Information
