ER RN Job Details – Dallas, TX
- Location: Dallas, TX 75230
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend required
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Start Date: September 29, 2025
- End Date: December 29, 2025
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1460 - $1500
ER Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience
- At least 2 years of specialty experience in Emergency Department (ED)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
- Charge nurse experience required
- Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system preferred
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Must comply with hospital dress code (no artificial nails, visible piercings other than ears, or extreme hairstyles/colors)
ER Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy emergency department
- Serve as charge nurse as needed, managing staff and patient flow
- Accurately document patient care using Meditech (preferred)
- Respond rapidly to emergencies and perform critical interventions
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Float to other hospital units as required
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
