- Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC Med Surg

- Shift: 12-hour nights (36 hours/week)
- Salary Range: $36.23 - $53.02 per hour (based on RN experience)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020 - $2300
- Shift Differentials: 3rd shift: +$4.00/hour; Weekend: +$3.25/hour
- Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 for new graduate nurses; $20,000 for RNs with 1+ years of experience
- Start Date: September 15, 2025
Responsibilities – LTAC Med Surg
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation)
- Develop and update individualized nursing care plans with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Accurately document assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
- Administer medications and perform technical nursing procedures within scope of practice
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing team members based on patient needs and staff qualifications
- Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and healthcare team members
- Participate in discharge planning and provide patient/family education
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and standards of nursing care
- Promote a compassionate, respectful, and safe environment for patients and their families
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma program
- Active RN license in Illinois or eligibility to obtain
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred)
- ACLS certification preferred
- 1+ year of experience in a medical/surgical acute care or LTAC setting preferred (new grads welcome to apply)
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency and electronic health record (EHR) experience
- Ability to prioritize and collaborate in a fast-paced healthcare environment
