Travel Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift in Louisville, KY. Advance your nursing career in an inpatient rehabilitation and neuro unit, caring for patients recovering from neurological and spinal injuries.

Rehabilitation RN Details

• Location: Louisville, KY 40202 – Prime downtown area with top dining, arts, and riverfront attractions
• Healthcare Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation/Neuro Unit (28 beds)
• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• End Date: January 12, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680 - $1800
• On-Site Nursing Position

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kentucky or compact state)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience (rehabilitation or neuro nursing preferred)
• Proficiency in trach care and G-tube management required
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Flu vaccination required
• Preferred: Med Surg nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and spinal cord conditions
• Perform specialized interventions including trach care and G-tube management
• Operate clinical equipment such as ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, Hoyer lifts, Kangaroo pumps, and negative pressure wound therapy devices
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner and ITW EMR systems
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation care plans and recovery processes
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
• Float to other nursing units within the facility as needed
• Adhere to hospital dress code (Galaxy Blue scrubs; no hoodies, t-shirts, or sweatshirts)
