Compensation Pay Range:$22.05-$31.50 Per Hr
Description Join a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive services to psychiatric inpatients. Assist with patient admissions and orientation to the inpatient unit. Support patients with personal care and orientation to unit rules and facilities. Contribute to the preparation and updating of treatment plans. Participate in therapeutic interventions and patient activity groups. Assist in the preparation and implementation of discharge plans. Provide patient escort services within and outside the medical facility.
Key Responsibilities Assist patients with personal care and secure their valuables. Perform direct care duties such as taking vital signs and collecting specimens. Lead therapeutic and recreational patient activity groups. Implement discharge plans by arranging transportation and maintaining contact with family. Intervene in situations requiring physical restraints and assist in patient seclusion. Initiate CPR and assist in emergency protocols when necessary. Maintain infection control practices.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience in relevant fields. Experience in venipuncture and EKG. BLS certification (American Heart Association). Certificate of Medical Assistant training. CPI or PMCS certification.
