Summary:
We're seeking a
temporary Material Handler
to join our manufacturing team on
C Shift
to cover a leave of absence (approximately 2 months). This hands-on role supports production by ensuring materials are properly handled, prepared, and delivered to the manufacturing floor. Candidates with prior materials handling experience are strongly preferred. This is a great short-term opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Shift: C Shift: 10:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Monday (Night) - Friday (Night)
Pay:
$18.50 - $19.50/hour (based on experience) Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Pull, stage, and supply materials to machines and operators as needed. Check hoppers hourly and maintain proper material levels and temperatures. Record material lot numbers and update inventory and usage records accurately. Clean and inspect hoppers, loaders, filters, hoses, and related equipment during changeovers. Return unused materials to storage and ensure proper labeling and tracking. Mix materials when required and assist with training new employees. Notify maintenance of any equipment issues or failures. Perform regular clean-up tasks such as vacuuming presses and removing scrap. Adhere to all quality system procedures, safety rules, and company policies. Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous material handling or manufacturing experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift (up to 50 lbs.). Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred). Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
