Position Title: Sr Staff Engineer Software (IC4b) Location: Baltimore, MD Duration: 9 months with possible conversion to FTE Employment Type: Contract role on W-2 through Above and Beyond Talent Acquisition, Inc. Who we are looking for / Requirements: Key components we are looking for: 10+ years in software engineering, specializing in frontend development and system architecture. Proficient in Angular, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, AWS, and Kubernetes. Demonstrated success in migrating and modernizing legacy systems to cloud-native architectures. Experienced with loan acquisition platforms, lead generation, and customer acquisition strategies. Skilled in guiding teams through complex technical challenges and driving successful project outcomes. Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing: Experienced in managing and maintaining distributed systems. Conversant in multiple technologies and programming languages, with the ability to quickly learn new ones. Proactively applies industry-leading technology trends, best practices, design principles, patterns, and methods, including Agile development, iterative delivery, and cloud computing. Proficient with cloud platforms and patterns, preferably AWS. Uses critical and analytical thinking to solve problems and achieve desired outcomes. Enthusiastic about continuous learning, improving results, and sharing knowledge with others. Holds progressively increasing experience and accountability in influencing important technical decisions and supporting their implementation.
