Technical Associate – Night Shift (F Shift) Sumter, SC | Medical Device Manufacturing ⏰ Schedule: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM, 3-2-2-3 Rotation Pay: $21.50/hr + $1.50/hr Shift Differential Long-term Contract-to-Hire About the Role We are seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Technical Associate to join our team in Sumter, SC. In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping high-speed medical device production equipment running smoothly. From troubleshooting mechanical issues to optimizing performance, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining production flow, product quality, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, changeover, optimize, and troubleshoot assigned production equipment Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on breakdowns, speed issues, and waste concerns Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure proper operation of equipment Maintain accurate logs of downtime, repairs, and maintenance activities Perform quality checks, process challenges, and document results Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards Support upstream and downstream production activities Work collaboratively in a team-oriented, continuous improvement environment Required Skills & Qualifications ✅ Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience ✅ Proficient with feeler gauges and precision tools for measuring tolerances, torque, and clearances ✅ Knowledge of cams, cam-followers, bushings, chain drives, conveyors, gearboxes, vacuum & pneumatic systems, ball valves ✅ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs ✅ Solid hands-on background with mechanical systems (auto engines, boat engines, HVAC, low-voltage electronics, sensors, machinist experience, etc.) Preferred Background (Bonus) High-speed manufacturing experience Strong continuous improvement mindset Team-player attitude with effective communication skills Why Join Us?
